Dexter Morgan: I’ve lived in the dark for a long time
The son of David Zayas Jr., he replaces his father in some photos because the two look so much alike. Dexter has a large scar on his left side in the first season. Later in the second season, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked.

Dexter creates a believable and very detailed portrait of a, let’s say, troubled sociopath
One of the parts of the show I love the most is the emotions that ordinary people show, forcing Dexter to imitate them. You get a good laugh when Dexter’s fake emotions become real and he gets scared like his «friend»; Rita, a mother of two and the victim of her abusive ex-boyfriend. I also liked Jennifer Carpenter’s performance as Dexter’s older sister, Debra, she adds a nice touch of color to the show without falling into clichés.
